He was the son of John Washbourne and Martha Timbrell. John married Margery Moore on 23 November 1618 in England. John & his family immigrated in 1635. They resided in Duxbury, in the Plymouth Colony between 1631 & 1633.. They later removed to Bridgewater. : [Bridgewater, Mass.]
On 17 March 1671, his son, John, was called "Jr." & in May he is called "Sr." John therefore died between that time in Bridgewater.
