William Ward

     William was born in 1631 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Andrew Ward and Hester Sherman. William married Deborah Lockwood, daughter of Robert Lockwood and Susannah Norman, in 1657 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.¹ William departed this life in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. The inventory of William's estate was taken before 4 March 1675/76. His estate was valued at £595 11s. 9d.¹ His will was probated on 4 March 1675/76. His widow made an oath that the inventory was true.¹ William and Deborah had a daughter, Hester [m. 4/19/1678 Ebenezer Hawley, 2nd. 10/171682 Ephaim Nichols & 3rd 11/__/1691 Eliphalet Hill].
