     Henry was born on Thursday, 17 February 1752 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of Henry Townsend V and Anne Wright. Henry married Mary Bennet on 28 April 1776 in New York. Henry and Mary had children: Isaiah [4/05/1777-2/__/1828], Mary Ann [1/20/1781-1826] [m. Joshua Cock], John [6/14/17838/26/1824] [m. 7/07/1810 Abby Spenser], Samuel [9/27/1785] [m. Mary Townsend], William 5/16/1788] [m. Charlotte Tobias], Peter [10/13/1790-12/14/1823], Hannah 10/13/1790] [m. Elisha Hedges], Charles [1795-1822] & Noah [1800-1816].
