Samuel Titus1,2

M, b. August 1658, d. 1 March 1732
     Samuel was born in the 6th month of 1658 at Town of Hempstead, Long Island, New Netherlands.3 He was the son of Edmund Titus and Martha Washbourne. Samuel married Elizabeth Powell, daughter of Thomas Powell and Abigail Wood, 6th day of the 9th month 1691 in the home of her brother, Thomas, Bethpage in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York.4 Samuel & Elizabeth had children: Phebe, Martha & Samuel.5 31 August 1698, Samuel was listed on the Hempstead Town Census. Enumerated in this household were. Samuel married 2nd Elizabeth Bowne, daughter of John Bowne and Hannah Feake, after 1704 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Samuel departed this life on Saturday, 1 March 1732 in Queens County, Long Island, New York.
