Martha was born circa 1578 in England. She was first married to a Mr. Stevens. Martha married 2nd John Washbourne, son of John Washbourne and Jane Busell, on 6 July 1596 in Bengeworth, Wickenford Parish, Worchestershire, England, at the parish church of St. Peter.1,2 Martha's husband, John, died before 5 August 1624 in Bengeworth, Wickenford Parish, leaving her a widow. Martha made her will on 29 September 1625 at Bengeworth, Wickenford Parish, Worchestershire, England.3 Martha departed this life in Bengeworth, Wickenford Parish. Her will was probated on 9 May 1626. The inventory of her estate was presented and approved. The inventory was taken by John Timbrell, Richard Moore & Richard Haye. The value of the estate was 24 pounds 13 shilling 8 pence.
