William Thorne1

M, b. circa 1636, d. 1688
     William was born circa 1636 in Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts. He was the son of William Thorne. On 27 December 1657, he signed the Flushing Remonstrance. It is the only record of him in Flushing.2 William married Winifred (?) circa 1662.3 William & Winifred had children: William [bp. 5/23/1663], John [1665], Elizabeth [1668] [m. 10/14/1696 Richbell Mott], Hannah [1670] [m. Samuel Ward], Denton [1673] Richard [1676 -1706][m. 8/29/1699 Phebe Denton], Sarah [1678] [m. 4/07/1701 Roger Pedley & 2nd 3/06/1705 John Chapel], Abraham [[1681] & Margaret [1683-4/26/1718] [m. Thomas Rattoone].4 William departed this life in 1688 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York.
