Enumerated in this household were Daniel Burrows [56 New York], Christain [53 New York] & Ira [27 New York]. They are farming with real estate worth $2000. [Their son, John, is listed right below them]2 Christian departed this life on Sunday, 28 September 1851 in Independence Township at age 56 years, 1 month and 22 days. She was buried there in the Sashabaw Cemetery in the Sashabaw Plains. The inscription on her tombstone reads: Christeen wife of D; Burrows Died Sept. 28 1851 Aged 56 yrs 1 m. 22 d.
