Rose was born circa 1650 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of John Townsend I and Elizabeth Montgomerie. Rose married John Wickes in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island. Rose married Samuel Hayden in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island. Samuel & Rose took care of the children of Rose's nephew "Justice" John after the death of his wife, Rebecca in 1703. Rose departed this life after 1703 in Rhode Island.
