Micajah was born 12th day of the 8th month 1643. in Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.2,3 He was the son of William Torrey and Elizabeth Fry. Micajah married Susannah (?). Micajah and Susannah had children: Micajah [7/27/1673-9/27/1722][m. Sarah Batt], Margaret [6/19/1675-4/16/1752][m. James Humphries] , Mary [3/22/1681-8/08/1716], Silence [1683-circa 1723][m. 2/13/1715 Samuel French & 2nd 9/15/1740 Thomas White], Joshua [1686-4/08/1752], Susannah [10/29/1687-4/30/1752] & Samuel [1/15/1688-1782][m. 1/03/1733 Kezia [Constant] Lincoln].4,5,6,7 Micajah departed this life on Tuesday, 20 January 1711 in Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.8 He was buried there in the Old Burying Hill. The inscription on his stone reads: Here Lyes ye Body of Deacon Micajah Torrey aged about 66-7 years Died January ye 20 1710.
