Hannah Sutliffe1

F, b. 13 June 1701, d. 1766
     Hannah was born on Monday, 13 June 1701 in Deerfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Sgt. Nathaniel Sutliffe and Sarah Savage. Hannah married Abraham Thomas in 1727 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut.2 Abraham & Sarah had children: Hannah [4/23/1728] [m. Lemuel Hand], Jerusha [3/10/1730] [m. 3/14/1751 David Johnson], Abraham [1/09/1732-died young], Sarah [8/10/1732] [m. 4/09/1761 Mose Seward], Mary [6/26/1737] [m. 10/07/1773 Abraham Bishop], Ann [2/22/1741] [m. Jesse Tobey] & Phebe [4/17/1743] [m. 7/29/1766 Timothy Coe]. All of the children were born in Durham.3,1 Hannah's husband, Abraham, died in 1746 in Durham leaving her a widow. Hannah departed this life in 1766 in Durham at age 64 years. She was buried there in the Old Durham Cemetery.4
