Angel Torrey1,2

     Angel was born on Sunday, 10 June 1657 in Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.3 He was the son of William Torrey and Elizabeth Fry. Angel married Hannah (?).4 Angel and Hannah had children: Hannah [12/02/1690][m. Timothy Gray], Samuel [6/07/1692-1753][m. 6/09/1730 Mary Tyler], Judith [8/28/1694-2/02/1726][m. 1717 Benjamin Bosworth], Melatiah [1696-1/29/1726][m. 12/22/1724 Joseph Eddy], Silence [1699] [m. Samuel Torrey], William [12/17/1700-3/01/1779][m. 12/29/1724 Susannah Giddings], Margaret [11/01/1702-1/29/1729][m. 8/14/1735 Caleb Church], Mary [11/01/1702- by 1712], Joseph [6/25/1704-1728], Ebenezer [2/23/1706-2/__/1730 drowned at sea], Jonathan [11/19/1710- before 1727] & Mary [6/22/1712-6/12/1774][m. 6/28/1738 John Willson].5 Angel departed this life in Bristol, Bristol County, Rhode Island.4 His will was probated on 21 May 1724. During his life, he operated a saw mill. His estate was disbributed on 26 December 1728.
