Teunis Snedeker

     Teunis married Neeltje Polhemius, daughter of Theodorus Polhemius and Aertje Teunise Bogart, circa 1705 in Brooklyn, Kings County, Long Island, New York, at the Dutch Reformed Church. Teunsis & Neeltje's children: Theodorus 10 March 1706, Elsie 22 March 1709, Gerrett ca. 1711, Abraham 10 March 1713, Elizabeth 2 January 1715, Rebecca 10 November 1818 m. Jacob Polhemius [s/o Capt. Daniel], Abraham 21 August 1720, Johannes 26 July 1721 - all baptized in the Jamaica Dutch Church. [Snedeker Records, Queensboro Public Library] In 1705, the family resided in Jamaica, Queens County, Long Island, New York. On 22 July 1744, they resided in Tappan, Orange County, New York. Teunis departed this life on Monday, 3 August 1750.
