Philip Smythe

M, b. before 1 April 1565, d. before 27 March 1631
     Philip was born in Erwarton Parish, County Suffolk, England. On 1 April 1565, he was christened in Erwarton Parish, County Suffolk, England, at St. Mary the Virgin.1 He was the son of Philip Smythe and Joan (?) Philip married Anne Grymwade on 1 June 1590 in Erwarton Parish at St. Mary the Virgin. On his death bed, he made a nuncupative will on 16 March 1631 at Whatfield, County Suffolk, England. He left all his goods to wife Anne, and afterwards to be equally divided amongst my children. Witnesses: George Carter and Richard Wyeles.2 Philip departed this life in Whatfield, County Suffolk, England. He was buried there in the churchyard of St. Margaret.1 His will was probated on 21 July 1631.
