William Symmes1

M, d. before 19 September 1582
     William was born. William married Catherine (?) circa 1547 in England.2 He was truly a religious man and devout Protestant to the extent of endangering his life by openly expressing his beliefs during the reign of bloody Queen Mary [1553 to 1558]. Professionally, he owned an apothecary where the family resided at Canterbury, County Kent.2
William's wife, Catherine, died before 18 April 1560 in Canterbury, leaving him a widower.3 William married 2nd Sibill Tomson on 7 February 1563 in Canterbury at St. George's.4 William's wife, Sibill, died before 28 June 1573 in Canterbury, leaving him a widower. William married 3rd Mary Yngellram on 28 June 1573 in Canterbury at St. George's.5 William departed this life in the parish of St. Andrews, County Kent, England.3 He was buried at Canterbury at St. George's.
