Joseph Sylvestre

     Joseph was born on Thursday, 9 April 1778 in St-Cuthbert, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 10 April 1778 in St-Cuthbert Church.1 He was the son of Joseph-Francois Sylvestre dit Champagne and Marie-Josephe Bergeron. Joseph married Madeleine Hamel on 7 January 1800 in St-Cuthbert, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Cuthbert Church.2
