     Mehitable Elisabeth was born in Dedham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Samuel & Mary [Brown] Stearns. Mehitable Elisabeth married 2nd William Snowden, son of William Snowden and Rachel Woodward, on 19 March 1738 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at the First Church. They were married by the Rev. Thomas Foxcroft.1,2
