Abigail Seaman

     Abigail was born in Jerusalem, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Seaman. Abigail married Samuel Jackson, son of Colonel John Jackson and Elizabeth Seaman, in Queens County, Long Island, New York. Samuel & Abigail had children: Isaac, Richard, Samuel, Thomas, Ruth, Jemina, Jerusha & Abigail. Some of these children were most likely of Samuel's 1st wife.¹ Abigail's husband, Samuel, died after 22 April 1728 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York, leaving her a widow.
