Thomas was born the 2nd day of the 9th month 1713 at Westbury, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of Nathaniel Seaman and Rachael Willis. Thomas married Hannah Willett on 3 December 1742 in Westbury, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Thomas lived on the homestead of his grandfather, Henry Willis. Thomas and Hannah had children: Simeon [8/31/1743-2/09/1751], Gideon [12/05/1744/45-5/271837] [m.2/14/1782 Elizabeth Keese] Anna [12/25/1746/47] [m. 8/01/1770 Fry Willis], Hannah .[8/03/1749] [m. 3/05/1783 William Jackson], Rachel [3/30/1752] [m. 3/05/1783 Jacob Smith] & Phoebe [5/05/1755] [m. 6/08/1779 John Loines]. Thomas's wife, Hannah, died on 23 July 1775 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York, leaving him a widower. Thomas departed this life on Friday, 13 January 1804 in Westbury, Hempstead Town at age 90 years, 2 months and 11 days.
