Hester Seaman

     Hester was born the 8th day of the 9th month 1701 at Westbury, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Seaman and Rachael Willis. Hester married John Whitson on 27 December 1723 in Westbury, Hempstead Town. John and Hester had children: Nathaniel [m. 1749 Mary Powell] and John [m. Martha Whitman]. Hester departed this life on Friday, 6 July 1759 in the Town of Hempstead at age 57 years, 7 months and 28 days.
