Obadiah Spencer1

     Obadiah was born circa 1635 probably at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Sergeant Thomas Spencer and Anne Dorifall. Obadiah married Mary Disborough circa 1666 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. Obidiah & Mary had children: Obidiah, Thomas, Samuel, Ebenezer, Mary, John & Disborough. Obadiah's wife, Mary, died in Hartford, leaving him a widower. Obadiah made his will on 22 June 1709. He wrote a codicil to his will on 2 May 1712. Obadiah departed this life in Hartford. His will was probated on 26 May 1712.
