Michael Spencer

     Michael was born in Stotfold, Bedfordshire, England. He was christened there on 5 May 1611 in the church of St. Mary's. He was the son of Gerard Spencer and Alice Whitbred. Michael married Isabel (?) circa 1637. Michael & Isabel had children: John [ca. 1638-1684][m. Susannah], Susanna [ca. 1643][m. 8/04/1664 Daniel Bacon], Michael [1648-3/16/1723][m. ca. 1672 Rebecca Sweetman] & possibly William [ca. 1652] of which there is much uncertainty. Michael inherited fifty pounds from his Uncle Richard, on 17 March 1645. Michael departed this life in 1653 in Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts.
