Keziah Sammis1

F, b. circa 1712
     Keziah was born circa 1712 in Huntington, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of David Sammis [Samwayas] and Sarah (?) Keziah married Daniel Wright, son of Edmund Wright II and Sarah Townsend, in 1730 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Daniel & Keziah had a daughter, Elizabeth [1743][m. 1767 Benjamin James 1742 of Pennsylvania]. Daniel was a merchant, and owner of a sloop named "'Keziah.", a privateer in New York City. An unknown person was still living in 1763.
