William Rowninge

William was born circa 1577 in Hundon, County Suffolk, England. He was the son of Thomas Rowning "wheelwright" and Alice (?) The name of his wife is not known. William and his wife had children: Joane [ca.1606], Thomas [bp. 2/12/1608/09], John [bp.12/03/1611], William [bp. 2/13/1615/16], Zachariah & Anne [bp.1/08/1627/28]. William made his will on 19 June 1647 at Hundon, County Suffolk, England.
The Will of William Rowninge of Hunden in the County of Suffolk, yeoman, 19 June 1647. To son William Rowninge my copyhold land called great St. Joanes and little St. Joanes lying in Hunden, and all my freehold land called Langland in Hunden, he to pay my daughter Anne £30. To son Zachariah a free piece of land called Chappell Croft, a piece of copy land called Longcroft, all lying in Hunden. To son John Rowninge two pieces of freehold land in Wickhambrook. To son Thomas Rowninge timber [and household goods]. All the rest of my goods to son John, he to be whole executor - - - William Rowninge - - - Witnesses: Thomas Rowninge Junior and John Rowninge, writer hereof.1
His will was probated on 3 March 1651.
