Elizabeth's husband, an unknown person , died on 20 May 1745 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow.¹ Elizabeth departed this life on Thursday, 10 February 1752 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. She was buried at Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, in the Old Burying Ground. The inscription on her tombstone reads: Here lyes Buried ye Body of Mrs. ELIZABETH BARLOW Widow of Lieut. SAMUEL BARLOW Who Departed this Life Feb'r ye 10th Anno Dom'i 1752 in ye 66 Year of Her Age.²
