Elizabeth Seaman

     Elizabeth was born in April 1795 in Manhattan, New York County, New York, at the family home at 90 Beekman Street. She was often called Betsey. She was the daughter of Dr. Valentine Seaman and Anna Ferris. Elizabeth died on Wednesday, 23 March 1796 in Manhattan at the family home at 90 Beekman Street at age 11 months as a result of innoculation of a live smallpox virus. She was eleven months of age. She was buried there in Manhattan in the Old Liberty Street Yard.1
