Martha Ridgely

     Martha was born on Sunday, 25 January 1750 in Frederick County, Maryland, at the family home "Ridgely's Chance". She was the daughter of Westall Ridgely and Sarah Isaac. Martha married Benjamin Franklin Thrasher, son of Thomas Thrasher and Martha Lee, on 7 October 1773 in Frederick County. Benjamin and Martha had children: Thomas [8/01/1774- 4/01/1842][m. 11/10/1817 Martha Johnson], William [10/07/1776-4/29/1812][m. 3/25/1801 Rebecca Penn], Benjamin W. [11/25/1778-1/02/1859][m. 2/15/1803 Elizabeth Sargent], Martha [9/12/1781-], Sarah Ann [9/06-1783-6/21/1844][m. 5/30/1809 Christian Tabler], Drucilla [9/24/1785-8/19/1846][m. 10/20/1803 William Bishop Lamar], Isaac Ridgeley [2/28/1788-2/15/1789]. Martha departed this life on Tuesday, 12 December 1826 in Frederick County at age 76 years, 10 months and 17 days.
