John Pine

     John was born circa 1655 in Town of Hempstead, Long Island, New Netherlands. He was the son of James Pine and Susannah Armitage. He was a defendant in court in 7 November 1677. John married Miss Ogden circa 1684 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. John & his wife had a daughrer, Mary [before 1/01/1685].1 John's wife, Miss, died in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York, leaving him a widower. John married Abigail (?) in 1687 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. John & Abigail had children: Daniel, Abigail, Ruth & Phebe. 31 August 1698, John and Abigail and his wife, [ROF:Hempstead Town] were listed on the Hempstead Town Census. Enumerated in this household were John Pine, Abigail, Mary, Daniel, Abigail, Ruth & Phebe. John made his will on 21 February 1708 at Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He mentions his wife Abigail, his brothers: James & William & the names of his children.2 John departed this life in Hempstead Town.
