Abigail Powell

     Abigail was born on Wednesday, 18 April 1668 in Huntington, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Thomas Powell and Abigail Wood. Abigail married Richard Willett, son of Richard Willett and Mary Washbourne, on 15 March 1690/91 in Huntington, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She and Richard were blessed with 7 cildren. The family resided at Jericho, Queens Co., L.I., New York. Abigail's husband, Richard, died on 14 May 1704 in Jericho in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York, leaving her a widow. Abigail departed this life the 2nd day of the 9th month 1757 in Jericho in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York.
