Sir William de Plumpton1

     William de was born in Spofforth Parish, West Riding of Yorkshire, England, at the Ville de Plumpton. He was the son of Sir Robert de Plumpton and Lucy de Ros. William married Alice Byanfiz, daughter of Sir Henry Byanfiz and Cecelia de Plumpton , Heir of the Seneschals, before 14 April 1322. William departed this life in 1362.
