Abiah Parker

     Abiah was born on Friday, 26 March 1677 in New Haven County, Connecticut.¹ She was the daughter of John Parker and Hannah Bassett. Abiah married Thomas Matthews on 23 May 1700 in New Haven County, Connecticut.² Thomas & Abiah had children: Thomas [2/14/1701-9/061799] [m. 7/14/1724 Eunice Merriam]. Joseph [5/05/1703-1785][ m. 10/04/1726 Hannah Curtis], Deborah [7/08/1704-1754] [m. 10/17/1727 John Parker], Abigail [7/30/1707] [m. 1/01/1740 John Andrews], Moses [8/16/1710-1806], Amos [4/06/1714-1806] [m. 5/03/1739 Elizabeth Moss] & Benjamin [5/14/1720] [m. 12/03/1740 Lucy Clark]. Abiah's husband, Thomas, died on 5 September 1762 in Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow. Abiah departed this life after 1766 in Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut.
