Jonah Palmer1,2

     Jonah was born in 1621 in England. He was the son of Walter Palmer and Ann Elizabeth (?) Jonah married Elizabeth Grissill on 3 May 1655 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Jonah's wife, Elizabeth, died, leaving him a widower. Jonah married 2nd Abigail Carpenter, daughter of William Carpenter and Abigail (?), on 9 November 1692 in Rehoboth. Jonah departed this life on Saturday, 22 June 1709 in Rehoboth at age 88 years.
