Bathsheba Palmer

     Bathsheba was born circa 1742 in Courtlandt Manor, Westchester County, New York. She was the dauighter of Thomas Palmer and Susannah Hunt. Bathsheba married James Haight, son of Samuel Haight and Rebecca Fowler, on 16 January 1765 in Westchester County, New York. He was a Quaker. He was a farmer and merchant. The family lived 11 miles E. from Shappaqua meeting house, New Castle, Manor of Phillipsburgh.
