Nicolas Pelletier

     Nicolas was born on Friday, 30 April 1649 in Sillery, ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada.¹ He was the son of Nicolas Pelletier and Jeanne DeVoisy. He was christened there on 2 May 1649 in the Mission of St-Joseph of the Jesuits.² Nicolas married Madeleine Tegochix in 1675 in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada.³ Nicolas & Madeleine had one child, Marie-Jeanne [12/10/1675]. Nicolas's wife, Madeleine, died circa 24 March 1677 in Tadoussac, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. Nicolas married 2nd Francoise Ouechipichinokoue on 3 June 1677 in Tadoussac, Quebec, Canada. It took place at the chapel at St-Charles, Lake St-Jean, near the river Metakekiouan.⁴ Nicolas & Francoise had children: Charles [5/20/1679-1741][m. 7/17/1700 Marie-Madeleine Ouikoueki & 2nd 7/20/1720 Marie-Madeleine Ouitchan], Marie Genevieve [6/13/1682-1/20/1763][m. 1/26/1704 Pierre Janson], Marie [3/24/1685-3/05/1719], Marie-Jeanne [12/__/1687-1/09/1703], Dorothee [6/__/1690], Marie Madeleine [16923/05/1719], Francois-Bonaveture [7/14/1695], Marie-Josephe [12/__/1697][m. 1718 Ouichouanenad & 2nd. 7/12/1721 Charles Kaorate], Louis [1701] & Paul [6/__/1705]. Nicolas's wife, Francoise, died circa 1714, leaving him a widower. Nicolas married 3rd Marie Outchiouanich on 5 August 1715 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, at the Basilica of Notre Dame.⁵ Nicolas and Marie had a daughter, Marie [1716-11/14/1755][m. 1/09/1731 Louis Paulet].⁶ Nicolas's wife, Marie, died circa 7 July 1728 in Tadoussac, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. On the same day, he was buried there.⁷ Nicolas departed this life on Saturday, 12 February 1729 in Tadoussac at age 79 years, 9 months and 10 days.
