Sir John Pell. 2nd Lord Pell1

     Sir John was born on Wednesday, 3 February 1643/44 in England. He was the son of Rev. John Pell and Tamar Reginville. Sir married Rachael Pickney, daughter of Philip Pickney, circa 1675. John inherited the manor from his uncle Thomas, who was first Lord of the Manor. having obtained a grant from the indians located north and east of the Bronx River - 14 November 1654. Sir departed this life in September 1702 in Pellham Manor, Westchester County, New York.
