Edward Neville

     Edward was born in 1412 in County Durham, England, at Raby Castle. He was the son of Ralph Neville and Lady Joan (?) de Beaufort. Edward married Lady Elizabeth de Beauchamp in 1436.¹ Edward & Elizabeth had children: Richard [circa 1437], George [1440-1492] Alice [circa 1442][m. Sir Thomas Grey] & Catherine [circa 1444][m. John Iwardby]. He was the 3rd Baron of Bergavenny.¹ Edward's wife, Elizabeth, died on 18 June 1448 in Yorkshire, England, leaving him a widower.¹ Edward married Catharine Howard the late summer or fall of 1448.¹ Edward departed this life on Wednesday, 18 October 1476 in Yorkshire at age 64 years.¹
