John Norman

M, b. before 7 February 1607, d. 1672
     John was born in Charminster, Dorsetshire, England. He was christened there on 7 February 1607 in St. Mary's Church.1 He was the son of Richard Norman and Florence (?) He & his son, John, constructed the pews for the first meeting house in Marblehead in 1659. These pews were constructed in 17th century joinery i.e. with no nails.2 John departed this life in 1672 in Marblehead, Essex County, Massachusetts.2
