Alice Noel de Ellenhall1

     Alice was born in Ellenhall, Staffordshire, England. She was the daughter of Thomas Noel and Margery L'Estrange. Alice married Sir William Harcourt de Standon, son of Robert de Harcourt and Isabel de Camville of Standon, circa 1200 in Staffordshire, England.2 While Alice was a widow, she lived on the Staffordshire estates consistingof Ellenhall, Seighford, Podmore, Mill Meece, and half Chatcull. Alice departed this life in 1235 in Ellenhall, Staffordshire, England.
