Thomas was born in Hertfordshire, England. He was an early settler of Hartford, and an original settler of Farmington in 1640. Thomas married Rebecca Olmsted, daughter of Richard Olmsted I and Frances Slany, circa 1642 in Connecticut. Thomas was of Farmington, Connecticut. He was a freeman in 1669. Thomas departed this life on Tuesday, 13 September 1689 in Farmington, Hartford County, Connecticut. His estate was valued at 700 pounds.
