John de Mowbray , Duke of Norfolk

     John de was born on Tuesday, 12 September 1415 in County Norfolk, England.¹ He was the son of John Mowbray and Katherine Neville. John married Eleanor Bourchier, daughter of Sir William Bourchier and Countess Anne of Glouchester - House of Plantagenet -, in 1443 in England. He suceeded to the office of Earl Marshall at the death of his father and as such officiated at the cornation of Edward IV on 4 March 1461. John departed this life on Wednesday, 6 November 1461 in County Norfolk, England.¹ He was buried in County Norfolk, England, in Thetford Priory.¹
