John Mead1,2,3

M, b. circa 1630, d. 5 February 1698/99
     John was born circa 1630 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. He was the son of William Mead and Philip (?) John married Hannah Brown circa 1656 in Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. John & Hannah had children: John, Joseph, Hannah, Ebenezer, Jonathan, David, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Samuel, Abigail & Mary. In the spring of 1657, John & his brother Joseph and their families, moved to Hempstead. They later returned to Connectiut. On the 26th of October 1660, he purchased all the houses & lands along with their apurtenances belonging to Richard Crabb in Greenwich. John departed this life on Thursday, 5 February 1698/99 in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut.
