Nicholas Beaupre1

M, d. before 24 January 1514
     Nicholas was born in Outwell, County Norfolk, England. He was the son of Thomas Beaupre II and Margaret Ashfield. Nicholas married Margaret Foderinghay, daughter of Thomas Foderinghay of Brockley and Elizabeth Doreward, on 14 February 1493. The marriage settlement was 14 November 1492. [With the differences in the calendar, these may be the same date]2 Nicholas made his will on 3 July 1513.

His will is dated on the feast of St. Thomas the Apostle, 1513, wherein he bequeaths his body to be buried in the chapel of St. Mary in the church of Outwell amongst his ancestors; to Henry his brother ccs. per ann. out of his manors of Beaupre, Southall, &c. and his son Edmund to enter in the said manors, &c. when he comes to the age of 21 years, and to him and his heirs, and in default thereof, to Nicholas his son; to the said Nicholas his manor of Northall in Wesingham; mentions his daughter Margery, cousin Fincham, and cousin Munford.3

Nicholas departed this life in Outwell. He was buried there in the chapel of St. Mary. His will was probated on 24 January 1514.
