- [S106] Howland Delano Perrine, The Wright Family of Oysterbay, L.I. with the ancestry of and descent from Peter Wright and Nicholas Wright, 1423-1923, page 21 - The Beaupre family were of very ancient origin, and had been settled in the county Norfolk for many generations, the family pedigree extending back into the reign of Henry I. (1100-1135). This Edmund Beaupre was born about 1502/3, died February 14, 1567/8 o. s., and buried in the parish church of St. CIement's at Outwell, county Norfolk, February 17, 1567/8 o. s. Leaving no male issue, he was the last of his Long line. The following inscription is on his tomb in the church at Outwell, in St Mary's Chapel: "Hic Jacet Edmundus Beaupre, Armigeri, Filius et Heres Nicholai de Beaupre, Armigeri et Margaretre uxoris ejus unius flliarum et here du Thomae Ffodringaie quondam De Brockley in Commitatus Suffolke, Armigeri, qui obit quarto decimo die menses Februari Anno Domini, Millesimo Quingentesimo Sexageesimo Septimo cujus anime propcietus Deus. Edmund Wright had three children, Mary m. Richard Berwick of County Suffolk, Elizabeth died without issue, Anne m. Nicholas Wright and was a widow in 1578/79.
