Ilene Cleo Beery

     Ilene Cleo was born on Friday, 16 July 1915 in Crawford County, Ohio. She was the daughter of LeRoy Selby Beery and Bertha Smith. Ilene Cleo married Roscoe William Stoffer on 14 August 1937 in Crawford County, Ohio. Roscoe & Ilene had children: William Lee [4/15/1944-6/23/2002][m. 10/20/1973 Linda L. Fennelly & 2nd 9/18/1999 Bonnie M. Davis] & Faye Taylor [6/19/1949][m. Roland Wlodyka]. 6 April 1940, Ilene and her husband, Roscoe, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Shelby, Richland County, Ohio. Enumerated in this household were Roscoe Stoffer [31 Ohio] & Ilean [24 Ohio]. He completed the 8th grade and she completed 4 years of high school. He worked as a Crane Platter.¹ Ilene died on Tuesday, 15 December 1998 in Mooresville, Iredell County, North Carolina, at a nursing home at age 83 years, 4 months and 29 days of a malignant neoplasm of the brain.²
