Daniel Beardsley1,2

     Daniel was born circa 1648 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of William Beardsley and Mary Harvey. Daniel married Ruth (?) in 1680 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Daniel & Ruth had children: John [8/17/1681-1732], Daniel [10/17/1684], Zachariah [11/13/1686], Ruth [10/13/1688-d.y.], Samuel, Nathan, Rebecca [1695-12/1754][m. 5/30/1717 Ephraim Judson], Obadiah & Sarah [7/23/1704][m. 8/11/1726 William Stannard].2 Daniel departed this life on Saturday, 7 October 1730 in Stratford. He was buried there in the Congregational Church Burial Ground.
