Andrew Beardsley

     Andrew was born on Wednesday, 8 February 1707/8 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of Jonathan Curtiss Beardsley and Abigail Wakelee. He was christened there on 3 April 1709 in Stratford. Andrew married Mary (?) in Fairfield. Andrew and mary had children: Ajdrew, Henry, Ann & Comfort. Andrew's wife, Mary, died in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, leaving him a widower. Andrew married 2nd Sarah Porter on 1 March 1745 in Fairfield. Andrew departed this life in Fairfield. Letters of Administration of his estate were granted on 28 March 1758 to Andrew Beardslee and Daniel Porter.¹ The inventory of Andrew's estate was taken on Tuesday, 4 April 1758 by Daniel Porter and Agno Thomlinson. They appraised the estate at £112 10s. 7d.¹ His will was probated on 4 April 1758. The estate was distributed to his children: Andrew, Henry, Ann & Comfort.¹
