Sylvester Baldwin1

M, b. circa 1598, d. 21 June 1638
     Sylvester was born circa 1598 in Dundridge Manor in the Parish of Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire, England. He was the son of Sylvester Baldwin and Jane Wells. Sylvester married Sarah (?) circa 1620 in the Parish of Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire, England. He and Sarah were blessed with 9 children. In 1638, Sylvester & his wife, Sarah, left England aboard the ship, "Martin", |They arrived at the Boston Harbor sometime before the 13th of July..2 On his death bed, he made a nuncupative will on 21 June 1638. He mentions his wife Sarah, his children: . Richard, Sarah, Mary, Martha, Ruth, and John. He appointed his wife, Sarah, & his son, Richard, as administrators. It was witnessed by John Baldwin.3 On 21 June 1638,Sylvester died while he was at sea aboard the ship "Martin." His will was probated on 13 July 1638 at Boston in the Massachuetts Bay Colony. The will was presented at the Court of Assistantants held in Boston 4 September 1638.4
