Joane Arnold

     Joane was born on Tuesday, 27 February 1617/18 in Ilchester, Somersetshire, England. She was the daughter of William Arnold and Christian Peak. Joane married Zachary Rhodes before 7 March 1646. Joane's father deeded property to her "Joanna wife of Zachariah Rhodes. Zachery & Joane had children: Jeremiah [6/29/1647], Malachi, Zachariah, John [circa 1658] [m. 2/12/1685 Waite Waterman] & Peleg [circa 1664]. Joane's husband, Zachary, drowned on 10 April 1666 in Pawtuxet, Providence County, Rhode Island, leaving her a widow. Joane married Samuel Reape on 11 January 1666/67 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. Samuel was of Newport, Rhode Island. Joane departed this life on Monday, 11 February 1692 in Pawtuxet, Providence County, Rhode Island, at age 73 years, 11 months and 15 days.
