Manaseth Armitage1,2

M, b. circa 1640, d. before 1698
Manaseth was born circa 1640 in New England. He was the son of Thomas Armitage and Susannah Mitchell. He attended Harvard in 1656-1659. He was known as resident of Newtown in 1662. It appears he was married to a Miss Withington by 1655 as he then witnessed a deed by his father-in-law. It is possible that the father-in-law was instead Mr. Withington and that he was not married. This bears further research. Manaseth departed this life before 1698 in Queens County, Long Island, New York.
