Thomas Andrews

     Thomas was born circa 1680 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. He was the son of Samuel Andrews and Elizabeth Spencer. Thomas married Love Knight on 20 November 1702 in Hartford at the First Church. Thomas and Love had children: Thomas [8/02/1703], Elijah [3/13/1705] [m. Elizabeth Cole], Rachel bp. 5/18/1707-d. y.], Love [11/08/1708] [m. 1/03/1732 Moses Ensign & 2nd. 4/26/1758 Benjamin Kent], Rachel [bp.10/21/1711-d. y.], Samuel [1/06/1713] & Jerusha [6/14/1716] [m. ____ Treat]. Thomas's wife, Love, died on 13 October 1718 in Hartford leaving him a widower. Thomas married 2nd Anna (?) in 1722 in Hartford at the First Church. Thomas and Anna had children: Sarah [bp. 6/16/1723], Silas [bp. 8/10/1724-d. y.], Rachel [bp. 11/__/1725] [m. Sylvanus Andrews], Silas [bp. 3/26/1727] [m. Sarah Quincy & 2nd. Esther Strickland] & Lois [bp. 5/05/1728]. Thomas's wife, Anna, died on 6 November 1750 in Hartford leaving him a widower. Thomas departed this life on Saturday, 7 September 1754 in Hartford. He was buried there in the ancient burying grounds.¹
