Ruth (?)

F, b. 2 September 1662, d. 4 May 1732
     Ruth was born on Saturday, 2 September 1662 in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut. There is controversy over whether her maiden name is Goodwin or Wheeler.1 Ruth married Daniel Beardsley, son of William Beardsley and Mary Harvey, in 1680 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Daniel & Ruth had children: John [8/17/1681-1732], Daniel [10/17/1684], Zachariah [11/13/1686], Ruth [10/13/1688-d.y.], Samuel, Nathan, Rebecca [1695-12/1754][m. 5/30/1717 Ephraim Judson], Obadiah & Sarah [7/23/1704][m. 8/11/1726 William Stannard].2 Ruth's husband, Daniel, died on 7 October 1730 in Stratford leaving her a widow. Ruth departed this life on Sunday, 4 May 1732 in Stratford at age 69 years, 8 months and 2 days. She was buried there in the Congregational Church Burial Ground.
